My last website attempt was a wordpress. It took 2 weeks out of my life and I gave up before it was done. The next one was a no-code Wix or Squarespace, I forget which one. It took 1 week out of my life and I was never happy with it so I didnt publish it.

This is an Astro containterized site with zero JS payload by default, hydrated only for the tools. It’s deployed by Cloud Run in a Docker container every time I push to main. I sort of know what all this means, but it works and it’s fast and I was done in a few days.

That feels like a massive change that very few people are seeing.
